Caps and Orlov Finally Get a Deal Done
After a summer long struggle to get a deal done the Capitals and Orlov were finally able to reach a deal. The deal is for one year and will pay Orlov 2.57 million.
Orlov is expected to play in the top four on the caps defense. The deal leaves the caps with 880,000 which is just enough for the 14th forward to make the team out of training camp. Orlov is currently playing for the Russian hockey team in the World Cup of Hockey, and will report to training camp when they either win or are eliminated.
