Falcons Offense Rolls Through Green Bay
The Packers and Falcons game started off with both offenses moving the ball efficiently.
The Falcons scored on all three of their first few drives making it 17-0. They scored a touchdown on a flip pass from Ryan to Sanu, and scored another one when Ryan ran it in himself. The Packers were able to move the ball but a fumble and missed field goal left them scoreless.
A late interception gave the Falcons a chance to score before the half. They drove down the field, and Ryan was able to find Jones in the end zone which extend their lead to 24-0 heading into the half.
The second half started with a 3 and out by the Packers followed by a long catch and run touchdown from Julio Jones to make it 31-0.
Ultimately the mistakes made in the first half by the Packers was too much for them to overcome. The Falcons are heading to the Super Bowl where Matt Ryan will try to capture his first Super Bowl win.
