Giants Release Victor Cruz
The New York Giants have released receiver Victor Cruz. The move will save them 7.5 million next year. Cruz recorded only 39 catches last year, and the cost to keep him was just too high.
The possibility of him returning back to New York isn’t out of the question if the market isn’t the best. There will certainly be teams that want him, but the cost of taking in a guy who didn’t produce to go along with an injury past could be too much.
The Giants also decided to cut running back Jennings which will save the team 3 million more.
