Kevin Garnett Retiring After 21 Seasons
Kevin Garnett and the Timberwolves have worked out a deal that will keep the big man from playing this season. A retirement statement is expected soon from the legend. Garnett finished his 21 years in the NBA with many outstanding accomplishments He had 15 All-star appearances which is tied for fourth of all time. Garnett was MVP of the 2003-04 season and was defensive player of the year in 2007-08. Over the course of his career he scored 26,071 points which is 17th all time. He had 11,453 defensive rebounds which is number one all time.
The basketball world will miss Garnett, but to have him be in the league 21 years we all had plenty of time to watch his greatness.
