Patriots Comeback to Beat Falcons 34-28
Super Bowl 51 started off slow offensively, but in the second quarter the Falcons offense scored two touchdowns, and had a pick 6 on defense to grab a 21-0 lead. The Patriots were able to get a field goal to make it 21-3 before the half, but the Falcons added another touchdown to make it 28-3 midway through the 3rd. The Patriots then scored on a touchdown catch and run by James White to make it 28-9.
Entering the 4th down 19 points it looked like the game was over, but Brady led his team all the way back with a field goal, two touchdowns, and two successful 2 point conversions. The game went to OT, and on the first possession James White ran in it for the Patriots to get Brady his 5th Super Bowl. The win secures Brady’s place as the best QB of all time.
