Ramos Rejects Nats Offer
Washington Nationals catcher Wilson Ramos has rejected an extension that was reportedly worth a little over 30 million for 3 years. The offer is nowhere close to what Ramos wants considering he has had a career year. He is hitting .303, has 21 homeruns, and 79 RBIs.
He is only 29 years old so he has a lot left in the tank. However, the Nationals will have to sign a lot of their young players that will have expiring rookie contracts in the coming years, such as Bryce Harper who could get around 400 million. The Nats are also stuck paying both Werth and Zimmerman huge amounts of money so there is no telling how much they will budge on the Ramos offer.
