Redskins Lose Badly 26-15 to Panthers
In a game where they had the ability to control their own playoff fate the Redskins came out flat, and played arguably worse than their season opener against the Steelers. The Offense failed to get into a rhythm, and couldn’t score when it mattered. Kirk Cousins threw no touchdowns, and fumbled inside the 5 yard line to open up the second half.
The defense did a decent job of holding the panthers to field goals, but Carolina ran all over them. Jay Gruden said the team was out coached in the loss. Jordan Reed got ejected for punching a player and his penalty cost the Skins a great chance at a TD.
The Skins playoff hopes have taken a big hit. They will need to win out, and hope the Packers and Bucs stumble these next two weeks.
