Rodgers and Cobb Roll Over New York
In the cold weather with one of the best defenses in the NFL the Packers vs. Giants matchup was expected to be low scoring. The Giants held the Packers to just 6 points for most of the first half. However, in the last few minutes the Packers would put up 14 points.
Aaron Rodgers threw a touchdown, and a defensive stop gave them the ball back with a little bit of time and up 14-6. Rodgers drove them down the field again, but couldn’t get into field goal range so with time expiring he threw up a hail mary.
The ball went just over a large group of players to find Randall Cobb. That miracle play turned all the momentum over to Green Bay and they wouldn’t give it up. Cobb ended up setting a Packers record with 3 touchdowns and 116 yards receiving. Rodgers set a record of his own by throwing 4 touchdowns. The Packers will now travel to Dallas to take on a rested and talented Cowboys offense.
Hopefully, for the Packers they can demolish the Cowboys defense because they are going to need to score a decent amount of points to win.
