Teddy Bridgewater was poised to have a breakout year
The Minnesota Vikings were optimistic about the upcoming season and were confident in their 3rd year starter out of University of Louisville, Teddy Bridgewater.
But like most NFL Teams, they were bitten by the injury bug. On Tuesday during a non-contact drill, Bridgewater collapsed to the field and let out a harrowing scream that shook the entire team.
Typically non-contact injuries are the most severe, and unfortunately for the starting QB and the Vikings, it was the case for this incident. Bridgewater dislocated his knee and tore his ACL, all while executing a typical drop back pass. He is out for this season and it is unknown when he will be able to resume football activities.
