Tiger Misses Cut at Torrey Pines
Tiger Woods missed just his 16th cut of his career after shooting 4 over through the first 2 days of the Farmers Insurance Open. Woods shot an even 72 in the second round on Friday which was much better than his first day. He managed to hit 10/14 fairways which was 6 more than he hit
Thursday. He also hit 2 more greens compared to Thursday. Although he missed the cut there were positive signs from Tiger. His misses weren’t bad, and he hit some great golf shots. Tiger said after the round that he wasn’t happy, but that he is trying to get everything ready to come together in April.
Jason Day (+3) and Justin Johnson (+2) his playing partners also missed the cut.
