Tim Tebow’s next sports adventure
Tim Tebow was once the golden child of College Football, playing for the University of Florida. He led the Gators throughout 4 seasons and brought home a Heisman Trophy, being recognized as the best athlete in the game.
His transition to the NFL however was short lived. After shifting throughout a few different organizations, Tebow has decided to try his hand at Professional Baseball.
On Tuesday he worked out for some 27 MLB Teams, and the overall reviews of his game were positive. Based on publicity alone, it is safe to assume a team will give him a shot for spring training.
The fact that he is parlaying a failed NFL career into an MLB career has stirred a lot of reviews with current and former MLB players, who spent their whole lives trying to master the sport.
As one could assume, most of the MLB players are insulted he thinks he has what it takes to pick up a game he hasn’t played in 10 years and excel in it. Time will be the only truth, and I am excited to see how it turns out.
