USA Suffers Early Exit in World Cup of Hockey

The USA lost to Canada 4-2 Tuesday night eliminating them from the tournament. No one expected the team to win, but to leave after just two games and only having the lead for 1:30 seconds total is rather disappointing.

There has been a lot of questions with how the team was formed and how they were coached. Top scorer in the NHL Phil Kessel wasn’t selected, Brandon Dubinsky has been a longtime struggle for Sydney Crosby to play against, but he wasn’t played on Tuesday night. Experts say the only reason he was selected to be on the team is because of the Canada game so he could matchup against Crosby.

Overall, we all knew we wouldn’t get too far in the tournament, but to get embarrassed shows how far behind we are in the world of hockey.
