Wilson Ramos Done for Year
After having a career season Wilson Ramos went down hard Monday night. An MRI Tuesday confirmed that Ramos tore his ACL. Ramos is out for the remainder of the season. He finished batting .307, 80 RBIs, 22 home runs. Ramos could miss 9 months which would include the spring training and the beginning of next season. He is a free agent so bringing him back probably just got a lot a cheaper with his injury, but will the Nats want to gamble on his injury timetable is the question. Without Ramos the Nationals will turn to Lobaton and Severino for the playoffs. The Nationals injuries keep piling up, and this is the wrong time for that to happen. Hopefully, the rest of the team can step it up so the great season they had doesn’t go to waste in the playoffs.
