Angelina Jolie — Brad Didn’t Commit Child Abuse … But it Was Still Bad
TMZ broke the story … the L.A. County Dept. of Children and Family Services has closed its child abuse investigation into an incident on a private jet between Brad and 15-year-old Maddox.
Angelina has filed for primary physical custody of the 6 kids … Brad has responded, saying he wants joint custody. Sources connected with Angelina say she feels the kids would be at risk if Brad gets joint custody, and if he doesn’t drop his claim she’ll present evidence to the divorce judge that Brad has committed abuse.
A rep for Angelina tells TMZ, “Angelina said from the beginning that she felt she had to take action for the health of the family and is relieved that after their 8-week involvement, the DCFS is now satisfied the safeguards are put in place that will allow the children to heal.”
The rep adds there’s a legal agreement in place, signed by both sides, in which Angelina currently has primary physical custody and Brad has monitored visitation. As we reported, however, that agreement was in place only during the DCFS investigation. Now that the investigation is closed, Brad and Angelina will have to duke it out before the divorce judge.
