Indians Beat Cubs in Game 1 of World Series
The Cleveland Indians beat the Cubs last night 6-0 to take a 1-0 lead in the series. The Indians had a lot more rest then the Cubs did so some wondered if their offensive momentum they had would come to a halt. That wasn’t the case at all. The Indians jumped out to an early 2 run lead and finished with runs.
The Indians gave up 0 runs has starter Corey Kluber pitched 6 shutout innings. Game two will be tonight as Jake Arietta will get his chance to tie up the series before heading back to Chicago.
