Jaguars Trade Thomas to Dolphins
The Jaguars have agreed to trade tight end Julius Thomas to the Miami Dolphins in exchange for a late round draft pick. In 2015 Thomas was brought to Jacksonville on a huge 5 year 46 million dollar contract, but things never really worked out as they had hoped.
Thomas suffered injuries, and their quarterback play remained poor. Heading to Miami will reunite Thomas with Adam Gase who was in Denver when Thomas went off recording 24 touchdowns in 2 years.
The addition of Thomas will fill a major hole at the tight end positon for the Dolphins. If he can regain his form from his days at Denver Thomas will be one of the best tight ends in the league.
