Jayson Werth is ready to Win
Jayson Werth was signed in 2010 to a 7 year 126 million dollar deal by the Nats. As the years have gone by his production has dropped, but last year it sunk to an all-time low. Werth was dealing with a wrist injury and the question of whether or not he would ever be good again came up often.
However, in the playoffs he played well proving he has some left in the tank. When Werth was first brought to DC the Nats were awful, but now they are one of the best teams in baseball. However, we all know the postseason failures they have gone through.
For Werth he knows that in order to be actually successful you have to win in the postseason, and that is what he is using as motivation this year.
