Joe Ross Pleased with Return
Joe Ross gave up 1 run on 6 hits while striking out 5 Sunday night in his first start in more than 2 months. Ross had spent most of the summer dealing with inflammation in his right shoulder. With the Playoffs quickly approaching the Nats need to find someone to fill in the rotation. Though Ross only pitched 3 innings he will be schedule to push his arm more and more over the next two starts.
Hopefully, the Nats can get him to be there a guy in the rotation for the playoffs.
Everyone they have brought up so far has been very inconsistent, and they need someone to step up. The Nationals magic number is 6 to win the division. All they have to do is cruse through the rest of the season, and rest up for what should be a deep playoff run.
