Kory Lictensteiger Retires
For the past 7 seasons Kory Lictensteiger has been a starter at both guard and center for the Redskins. However, he has been injured the past two years and has missed significant time. Therefore, his retirement isn’t too surprising considering him being 31 to go along with those injuries.
His retirement will end up saving the Redskins 3.5 million on the cap. The Redskins already had 60 million to spend coming into the day, but when you have all the big free agents the Skins have every dollar counts. Hopefully, Scot McCloughan can find someone to fill the void left by Lictensteiger.
