Louisville Comes up Just Short against Clemson
Clemson shot out to an 18-point lead at halftime against Louisville with the score being 28-10.
Louisville and Lamar Jackson fought back to take the lead. Clemson was down 8 in the fourth quarter and they delivered big time. They scored twice in a row to put the Cardinals down 6 with a few minutes to go. Louisville had 4th and 12 from the 14 yard line.
Lamar Jackson hit his receiver James Quick in the flat. Instead of turning inside to gain the extra yards to get a first down Quick ran out of bounds to lose the game. Louisville chance at the playoffs isn’t over, but they will need to win out to give themselves a chance.
