Redskins Hire Torrian Gray as New DB’s Coach
The Redskins decided to start fresh with most of their defensive coaches after they fired Joe Barry. On Wednesday they announced the hiring of Torrian Gray as the defensive backs coach.
Gray played college football at Virginia Tech, and was selected by the Vikings in the second round of the 1997 draft. Gray was most recently an assist defensive backs coach for the Florida Gators in 2016. Before that he spent 10 seasons at Virginia Tech, a season with the Chicago Bears, and a season with the University of Connecticut.
His time at Virginia tech included coaching Kendall Fuller who is currently on the Redskins. Hopefully, he can take the talent he has and make the secondary better.
