Wizards Fall to Rockets 101-91
The Wizards still couldn’t manage to take their home hot streak on the road when they faced the Rockets Monday night. They were up early and had a 53-41 lead at the end of the first half, but a huge third quarter by the Rockets killed the Wizards. They were outscored 37-17 in that quarter.
Wall scored 27 points, and Gortat got a double-double with 13 points and 14 rebounds. The good news for the Wizards is that Bradley Beal returned from his hurt ankle and scored 18 points with 12 assists. The Wizards will now travel to Dallas before returning home to take on the Timberwolves. Hopefully, they can get a road win in Dallas tomorrow.
